A tiny humanoid sparkles in the gloom, the hum of his beating wings punctuated by intermittent peals of high-pitched laughter. What he lacks in physical endurance, he makes up for with his wealth of mischievous magical abilities.

The Pixie is a mid-game flying monster with mediocre offensive and defensive stats, but a wide array of spells: Discord, Slowing, +2 Lightning, and Negation. Pixies are intrinsically fast and emit light.

Due to pixies' qualities as an offensive spellcaster with both Discord and Negation, pixies can be deadly to Ally Builds - being able to strip any abilities that allies once had and force groups of allies to attempt to kill each other. In addition, pixies are always found alone - there is nothing to spellcast but the player and any allies the player may have.

Approaching a pixie can be difficult - Pixies that have noticed you will cast slow, and proceed to shoot sparks while maintaining a distance. A pixie firing over or across lava cannot be approached, as pixies can negate a target using a Potion of Levitation or Fire Immunity. The strongest War Hammer is not enough to kill a pixie, as pixies are fast and maintain their distance. They are best handled with Darts, Staffs, Wands, or whatever long-range equipment there is on hand. Additionally, negating a pixie will strip the pixie of all its magical abilities, reducing his threat significantly.
