My, what a yummy mango! |
Mangos are one of the two types of food you can eat in Brogue. They are the only fruit found in the dungeon, and boy are they tasty!
A mango keeps you alive another 1550 turns (compared to 1800 for a Ration of Food). This is enough time to regenerate your health completely five times or charge most staves three times.
In Rogue, you could configure the fruit (which was a slime mold by default) to be called whatever you want. In Brogue, they're always mangoes.
