A spectral outline of a knight carrying a battleaxe casts an ethereal light on its surroundings.

The guardian spirit only appears as a friendly summon from the guardian charm. Similarly to the other guardian type monsters, most monsters will not even be able to damage this creature.

After a period of time based on the enchantment level of the guardian charm, the guardian spirit will disappear.

Because the guardian has a limited lifespan, monsters will flee from guardian (even if they do not normally flee) in order to wait out the remaining summon duration.  While this will prevent your guardian from killing monsters it otherwise could have killed, it can also be useful when you want to provide some distance between you and an enemy.
