A Flame Turret spews bolts of fire with uncanny accuracy. The bolts inflict damage as well as set the target on fire. As with all turrets, a flame turret does not regenerate. It is vulnerable to fire and lightning as well melee and missile attacks. Any turret can be defeated in one turn by a staff of tunneling or a scroll of shattering, unless the turret is on the outer perimiter of the dungeon level or imbedded in the wall of a vault. Like other turrets, a flame turret can only attack you when it's within your stealth range and has a line of sight.
A flame turret within a bog is quite dangerous because of the potential for a deadly explosion.
